The Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand (USANZ) is the peak professional body for urological surgeons in Australia and New Zealand. The Society’s vision is to continue to work for its community to ensure the best access to the quality urological care its members provide. USANZ is committed to clinical excellence, education, the promotion of research, and the dissemination of information on urological topics for the benefit of the community.
The Society administers the Surgical Education and Training (SET) Program in Urology through the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. It also organises Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities for members, and represents the views of urologists to governments, the health sector and medical industry.
USANZ works with advocacy and support groups such as the Cancer Council and PCFA and provides information on urology to the media.
